The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain is a private, member-owned club nestled in the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont. The Club offers the congenial luxury of the only private ski resort-experience club in the East. We are a family-focused oasis of convenience showcasing our attention to nearly 200 acres of curated snow conditions and thoughtfully planned services, amenities and entertainment. Members enjoy zero lift lines with endless runs thanks to our heated 6-passenger high-speed lift serving ski trails for all ability levels and classic New England glades.

Apres ski traditions are just as important and range from down-to-earth to over-the-top in the extraordinarily appointed 90,000 square foot Lodge that is the Club's centerpiece. Features include a full-service spa and salon, fitness center and classes, indoor salt-water lap pool, private lockers, 50-seat movie theater, child care and youth activities, plus a well-stocked retail store and rental equipment for guests. Oh yes, and valet service for both your car and your skis!

The companion Mid-Mountain Lodge is a favorite for ski-in lunch, and a special private dining experience for small groups who travel by snowcat in our ‘Catillac'. The Lodge

The center of the Hermitage Club experience is the expansive 90,000 square foot Austin Design post and beam lodge anchored by a soaring 4-sided fireplace large enough to stand in. Light floods the main gathering room through the majestic cupola and floor-to-ceiling glass offering views of the Deerfield Valley below and Haystack Mountain rising to the west and afternoon sunsets.

Four sprawling floors contain all of the services and amenities needed for an all-inclusive day at the mountain, and the Mezzanine level floats above the activity below, hosting the luxury private lockers and plenty of soft seating for quiet group conversation and catching up with friends.

Eat And Drink

Expect that a refined ski club is as much about the social experience IN the Lodge as ON the slopes. At each turn throughout the day you'll find something to delight from mountain-top waffles, some mid-day lunch celebration at the Mid Mountain Lodge, teas and treats at the First Chair Cafe, and Apres Ski your way from rockin' to relaxed at either the Trestle Bar or Hayloft Lounge. When the sun goes down special chef's dinners for small private groups at Mid Mountain or family events at the Lodge are on the menu. Theme weekends and live entertainment keep things hot inside, regardless of the winter weather outside.

Fitness Center

Warm up or cool down, or use our fully equipped fitness center to maintain a healthy lifestyle anytime of the year. Facilities and services include stretching, cardio, progressive resistance machines, a free weight room, saltwater lap pool and a dedicated Pilates room. Supportive and fun weekend classes include yoga and spinning in the Studio.

The Spa

The Hermitage Club's full-service spa offers a range of treatments including facials, massages, body treatments and mani-pedis. The soft light and soothing sounds of our gentle waterfall in the Serenity Room offers a blissful and calming oasis for members and guests pre-and-post-treatment or just to take a few minutes for yourself.

Ski And Snowboard School

Our team of professional coaches are ready to make you the best skiers in your vacation group! From first-timers through experts, our certified coaches can provide you with skill enhancement and a safe and fun learning environment for all ages including seasonal programs for kids ages 7-13. Want to learn to turn, tackle the moguls or powder, build your confidence, or just looking for a trusted ski friend? We're here for you.

Youth Programs

We are an active Club, and this extends to our younger members. Parents with infants will be pleased with our Fully Licensed Child Care Center. Apres ski is centered on the Family Center with Arcade, 50-seat Theater, Bowling Alley and Bouldering Wall.

Ski Shop
Rental & Demo Equipment

Our HMC Flagship Store and Logo Shop have all of your essential ski day needs and more. Goggles, gloves, helmets, hats, socks and all the items you need for a day on the slopes can be found adjacent to our fully-stocked Rental shop featuring Head ski products. You will also find plenty of 'Hermitage Stag' logowear including outerwear from Helly Hansen, Stio, Kuhl, Hestra and Scott and plenty of mid-layer, hoodies, t-shirts, workout gear and home goods.

Valet Service

Access to the slopes has never been easier. Not just for your car, but for your skis as well! Just pull up, hand off the keys while our staff helps unload the kids and any equipment, and head to your private locker room.

By the time you're booted up and ready for the slopes you'll find your favorite skis or snowboard in the rack waiting for you.
